Environmental policy

The protection of the climate and of the environment are express and prioritary corporate objectives for Riva Stahl and for the whole Riva Group. Consequently, modern and efficient environmental management systems have been introduced already not only in the German works, and these systems assure that the interests of the protection of the environment and of the climate are sufficiently taken into account, guaranteeing a steady improvement of the envitonmental performance of the companies. In Germany the environmental management systems are certified already since 10 years according to ISO 14001. The objective of these management systems is to continually improve the environmental compatibility of our plants and to produce our products with minimum use of resources and the less possible burdon for the environment. This is achieved, on the one side, through a modern and efficient energy management, and on the oter, through specific measures and concrete initiatives of technichal and organizational nature.
